Curriculum
R.P School abide by the rules and regulations laid by State Board of School Education and strictly adhers the curriculum prescribed by them. Besides state curriculum the school offers Islamic Curriculum which is simultaneously taught to the children. The curriculum is challenging and compressive. Constant efforts are made to make this curriculum practical and beneficial. The subjects which are taught here are almost the same which are taught in the valley like:-
1) General English

v Social science
v Arabic, Urdu and Kashmiri languages
v Games and Physical Education
v Computer science
2) Islamic curriculum comprises of
v The glorious Quran
v The correct pronunciation of the Quran (Tajweed)
v Mememorization of Quran
v Islamic studies
v Arabic language
v Worship
The medium of instruction is English followed by Urdu and Kashmiri. Arabic language is taught to the extent so that the students can understand the basic teachings of the Quran and Hadit if they continue to work in this field after they have left the school. Some books like English grammar upto 5th standard, the Urdu grammar and Urdu text books are composed and compiled by R.P teachers by themselves. From 6th onwards the science subjects like physics, chemistry and biology are taught separately. Often students are encouraged to avail the laboratory facilities. In the same way social science subjects like history, geography and civics are introduced from the 6th class. All the Board Subjects English, Science Social Science, Urdu, Mathematics and Computer are designed on NCRT pattern. In case of computer emphasis is given on practical use of the computer rather its theoretical part. Once or twice in a week drawing classes are held to provide opportunity to little kids to show their creativity in the field of art. In Islamic curriculum Arabic, Islamiyat, and correct Quranic pronunciation are taught from the primary classes. Quranic memorization classes are conducted for the selected students who secure above 80%marks. Zuhur prayer is always offered in the school hall where students are taught how to offer Salah. In nutshell the management is trying to give its best from their resources and the limited time which is at their disposal.
